Ignorance is the root of all evil.
Produced for a showing in a public space in Canada (remained unpublished).
I re-used the material of an earlier micro short film and re-edited it in the style of a silent film.
The title cards and film were "aged" so as to evoke a film projection of an old silent film. However, here the intertitles no longer have their original narrative function. I use them as carriers for a personal commentary accompanying the contemporary images. The 82-second film culminates in a heightened message like some big epic silent movie would.
It can be read differently depending on the viewpoint.
